Scriptural Salvation

 1. Repent: Confess your sins to God. Forsake, turn away from, stop committing, sin, forever (Luke 13:1-5, Acts 26:20, Proverbs 28:13, John 8:11)

2. Put your faith in, verbally commit your life to, and confess, Christ: Make a verbal covenant and commitment to love, obey, live for, as your only Lord, God, and Master, the Lord Jesus Christ –God Who became a man, was born of a virgin, lived a life free of sin, gave His sinless Life to be crucified on the cross as a perfect sacrifice for mankind’s sin, died, was buried, was raised from the dead on the third day, appeared to above 500 witnesses, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father where He ever lives to make intercession for, and save, those who come to God through Him (Romans 10:9,10,13, 1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Hebrews 7:25)

3. Be baptized: Be baptized in water in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38)

4. Be filled with the Holy Spirit: Receive power to live as a witness to the Lord Jesus Christ by asking your Heavenly Father to fill you with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues. After asking, believe that you receive the Father’s Scriptural Promise of the Holy Ghost, lift your voice and begin speaking in tongues as the Biblical evidence of the Holy Spirit’s Presence in your life (Acts 1:8, 2:1-11, 14, 37-38, 10:44-46, 19:2-6, 1 Corinthians 14:2,4,5,14-15,18,39, Jude 20)

5. Be a witness to Christ: Everywhere that you go tell everyone to stop sinning, submit to Christ, and daily live by the Bible (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 24:45-49, John 3:17, 20:21, 2 Timothy 4:2, Ezekiel 3:17-20)

6. Read and obey God’s Word: Daily read, study, memorize, speak, and obey, God’s Word, the Bible (Joshua 1:8, John 8:30-32, 2 Timothy 2:15, 3:15-16, Psalm 119:89, John 17:17, Matthew 4:3-4, Job 23:12)

7. Pray: Take every waking moment that you have to pray to Your Heavenly Father, through the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit. First, thank God for Who He is and the wonderful things that He has done. Then, pray for God’s Will to be done on earth (pray both “with the Spirit”, and “with your understanding”). Next, pray for all people to saved and become witnesses and laborers for Christ. Ask God to supply your needs and then be still, listen, and know that He is God (John 16:23, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Ephesians 6:18, 1 Timothy 2:1-4, 1 John 5:14-15, Philippians 4:11-19, Psalm 46:10)

8. Gather with Biblical followers of Christ: Associate, gather with, fellow Biblical disciples, for the purpose of exhorting and provoking each another to love and do good works, as Judgment Day approaches (Hebrews 10:23-29)

9. Love God: “Agapao” is the Greek New Testament word translated as “love”. It means to do one’s social or moral duty. Based on this, you love God by doing your social and moral duty to God, or, in the words of Christ, “If ye love Me (Christ), keep My Commandments” (John 14:15, 21, 23, 1 John 5:3)

10. Love people: Love people by sacrificing your life for the purpose of enhancing their lives. Because God is Love, the main way that you love others as yourself is by sharing with them the same God that you received, through Christ (John 15:12-13, Matthew 22:38-40, 1 John 4:8, Matthew 10:8)
